Accountant for Automotive Service Repair Centre - Alberton

- Reconcile all GL accounts
- Debtors book:
- Debtors reports to be presented on a weekly and monthly basis
- Creditors book:
- Ensure that all invoices (COS and general expenses) are captured on a monthly basis
- Ensure that the creditors’ clerk reconciles all the books within specified dates
- Ensure cash flow status is maintained
- Proper expense controls are in place
- Proper controls of salaries and wages (employee related matters)
- Month end reporting (forecast and actual)
- Managing 3 staff members
- 3 - 5 years accounting experience
- Bachelor of Commerce is preferable
- Financial experience in an Automotive Service Centre would be preferable
- Attention to detail – of high importance
- Microsoft Office suite (Excel vital)
- Experience on at lease one of the financial bookkeeping systems ESSENTIAL
- High level of confidentiality and integrity
- Deadline driven
- Must be able to multitask
- People management skills
- Team player
