IT Business Analyst

• Define requirements and product configurations for the Murex product suite, focusing on Murex Limits Controller and Basel II Credit Capital Calculator.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of credit processes, systems, and functional requirements.
• Maintain and enhance business processes for Credit, aligning with business changes and objectives.
• Assess the impact of proposed projects on business operations and IT systems.
• Conduct end-to-end analysis of Credit systems and dependencies.
• Identify and document gaps between current and future states, proposing process improvements.
• Document end-to-end Credit process flows, including activities, inputs, outputs, and resources.
• Assist in translating business needs into Murex system functionality.
• Define report requirements and process specifications for business and IT changes.
• Perform As-Is analysis of existing systems and inter-dependencies.
• Propose re-engineering or optimization of business processes.
• Ensure alignment of projects with to-be architecture and business rules.
• Collaborate with Technical Designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Oversee functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Proactively identify and solve operational problems.
• Interface with Business Analysts and Project Managers.
• Work with technical architects to define the Credit systems landscape.
• Challenge and streamline business demands, eliminating redundancies.
• Develop and maintain a Credit business information model.
• Provide expert advice and stay updated on changes in credit management and best practices.

• Relevant degree or qualification.
• Excellent Excel skills for creating and maintaining test packs and scenarios.
• 2-5 years of practical experience in major projects related to the credit business.
• Strong background in implementing business solutions (build and buy).
• Ability to engage in technical discussions.
• Preferred experience in the investment banking sector.
