- Branch Operations Management
- Oversee daily branch operations including collections, deliveries, and express parcel distribution.
- Manage express airfreight and locker deliveries.
- Implement and maintain OTIF performance standards and KPIs.
- Ensure proper use of technology systems (TMS, SWAD, scanning & dimensioning).
- People Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of ±10 staff.
- Manage owner drivers, contract drivers, and 3rd party agents.
- Conduct performance reviews and training.
- Enforce HR and safety compliance.
- Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Maintain strong client relationships.
- Act as escalation point for service issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery.
- Financial & Commercial Accountability
- Monitor branch budget, costs, and revenue targets.
- Manage expenses and optimize route efficiency.
- Support local business development and client retention.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with courier regulations and airfreight security.
- Implement security measures for parcel loss/theft prevention.
- Manage audits, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of courier and logistics industry (last mile, airfreight, lockers).
- Analytical with KPI interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in logistics systems (TMS/Ship Logic).
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management (preferred).
- 3-5 years experience in courier/logistics/express parcel industry.
- Experience managing teams and external contractors.
- Exposure to airfreight and last mile delivery.
- Valid drivers license required.
