- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (would be advantageous).
- Certifications or training in radio transmission technology may be required for some roles.
- Proven experience with radio equipment, transmission systems, and resolving technical issues.
- Own vehicle.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Strong knowledge of both analog and digital radio systems.
- Proficiency in using RF (Radio Frequency) testing and measurement tools.
- Familiarity with audio processing and automation software.
- Understanding of regulatory standards and compliance in radio transmission.
- Ability to explain technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical staff.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
- Design and install radio transmission equipment, including transmitters, receivers, and antennas.
- Assist in planning and implementing infrastructure such as network systems and broadcast studios.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on radio equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to transmission, reception, signal interference, and hardware/software failures.
- Calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and signal strength.
- Monitor signal quality and performance.
- Adjust and fine-tune equipment to maintain proper transmission and reception standards.
- Ensure all systems comply with regulatory standards and licensing requirements.
- Follow safety protocols, especially when working with high-power transmitters and electrical components.
- Provide technical assistance to internal teams and departments.
- Deliver training on equipment usage and routine maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades.
- Document technical specifications and configurations of equipment.
