
External Sales Representative

- Client Engagement: Promote company product range, clearly communicating features and value to both new and existing clients.
- Sales Growth: Actively identify sales opportunities and convert leads while ensuring existing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Customer Portfolio: Service a diverse mix of clients from workshops, spares shops, and diesel pump rooms to co-ops, fleet owners, and dealerships.
- Performance Tracking: Achieve set sales targets, maintain comprehensive call logs, and deliver daily and monthly sales reports.
- Proactive Selling: Execute structured call plans (68 visits/day), introduce products to new clients daily, and handle credit applications.
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct gap analyses to maximize clients product ranges and advise on improvement areas.
- Customer Retention: Build and maintain strong relationships, provide timely support, and ensure loyalty through regular on-site visits.
- Market Awareness: Monitor competitor activity, share insights with management, and contribute to strategic planning.
- Event Representation: Attend customer functions, roll out promotional campaigns, and support cross-functional collaboration.
- Reporting: Provide strategic feedback via client sales reports and stay up to date with product training and updates.
- Support Duties: Tackle ad-hoc tasks as delegated by the Branch Manager.
- Matric certificate
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
- Proven sales experience in the automotive industry
- Strong Excel skills able to generate reports and graphs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Multitasking proficiency and a proactive mindset
- Industry knowledge and product familiarity (advantageous)
