This is an excellent opportunity to focus on clinical work in a supportive, patient-centred environment. A competitive nett salary of up to R40,000 is on offer, depending on experience.The ideal candidate will have:

Ideally five or more years of clinical experience
A strong commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence
A warm, approachable manner and the ability to work well within a team setting
Experience in Orthokeratology and Scleral lens fitting is an added advantage

This is a busy and rewarding clinical environment. The role includes:

One Sunday per month
Two to three Saturdays per month

These additional hours are well reimbursed, and they are always open to discussing flexible working hours during the week as part of a collaborative arrangement between both parties.We’re looking for someone who:

Is clinically confident and proactive
Is comfortable managing a varied caseload, especially children and complex binocular vision cases
Seeks a long-term role in a practice that values clinical depth, integrity, and meaningful patient outcomes

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor of Optometry degree
HPCSA registered
Fluent English
At least 5 years experience
