- Manage the RFC deployment and compliance.
- Manage capacity planning.
- Implement and administrate any required change management
- OSPF planning, management and optimization.
- MPLS/VLANs planning, configuration and management.
- Planning and advanced, maintenance and support of:
- Router configurations and L2 Switching.
- Network device management.
- Advanced IP planning, deployment and management.
- Advanced Firewall planning, deployment and management.
- Logical design, drawing and documentation of networks (as per RFC).
- Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the network.
- Enforcement of SOP.
- Escalate all advanced RF or Fibre problems to relevant departments.
- Reports into the NOC Team Leader and assists with management, planning, implementation and maintenance.
- Manage projects effectively.
- Advanced fault finding.
- Compile reports as required.
- Any adhoc task as per the operational requirement of the business.
- 5 years Network Engineer experience.
- OSPF Routing Expert.
- MPLS Intermediate/Expert.
- Mikrotik Routers Expert.
- L2 Switching Expert.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas both written and verbally.
- Must be able to compose and manage complex network.
- Networking Expert / Expert +.
- Proven experience on: UBNT & Cambium.
- BGP experience.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Ability to work quickly, effectively and under pressure.
- Advanced Problem-solving skills.
- Time management skills.
- Good Communication skills (written and verbal).
- Build and maintain strong team and interdepartmental relationships.
- MTCNA Certification.
- MTCRE Certification.
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
- Juniper experience is advantageous
