-POSITION INFO:JHiring: Systems - Azure & Windows Server Environments - RosebankOur client is seeking a skilled and solutions-driven Systems Engineer to support and evolve their rapidly growing data and infrastructure environment. This role is ideal for a candidate with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and Windows Server ecosystems, with a proactive mindset and strong troubleshooting capabilities across hybrid environments.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Systems Engineer, you will:Provide Tier 1 and 2 support across infrastructure and core business systemsAdminister and support Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure AD, VMs, Storage, NSGs)Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)Monitor system performance and resolve infrastructure and connectivity issuesAutomate administrative tasks and diagnostics using PowerShellHandle service tickets via Jira or equivalent ITSM platformSupport user issues via Microsoft Teams and phone in a clear, user-friendly mannerEnsure SLA compliance for support and escalationCollaborate with dev and infra teams to resolve complex issuesMaintain documentation, procedures, and contribute to the knowledge baseCandidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have:2+ years in a systems support, infrastructure, or technical operations roleDeep familiarity with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud solutionsHands-on experience with Windows Server setup, administration, and patchingWorking knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, IPs, firewalls)Basic scripting skills in PowerShellFamiliarity with monitoring and access toolsStrong communication and customer service orientationAbility to work under pressure and prioritize effectivelyExperience in agile or small IT team environments?
