We are looking for a consumables and equipment controller for the Contract Logistics division.This individual will be responsible for managing the cost efficiencies as well as control packaging and equipment. This specifically requires the implementation of various control measures in reducing costs associated with equipment and packing without compromising the efficiency of the warehouse production.Key responsibilities:Implementing control measures for all the DC equipment, including the daily control of all the equipment issued to the OSP’s.
Maintaining asset registers for all equipment, performing regular audits to identify and address abuse and poor controls,
Scanners and all workstation equipment checked daily and OSP’s invoiced for any damages
Design and oversee the implementation of a dedicated secure controlled area for charging and storing devices
Implementing control measures for all packaging material.
Run reconciliation reports to manage the packaging issued with the packaging billed.
Regular review of consumable quotes to reduce costs
Responsible to reduce the cost of the assets maintenance (linked to abuse)Skills and competencies:Attention to detail

Financial acumenRequirements:Grade 12 certification
Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management
At least 2 years’ experience within a similar role.
