- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred) - optional dependent on experience
- Demonstrated success in business development and sales roles within the software development industry, more specifically in the banking and financial services sector.
- Experience in the Fintech Industry
- Experience in the EFT Clearance Settlement Environment
- Deep understanding of payments
- Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
- Strategic thinker

- Strong business skills and decision-making ability.
- Open to regular travel to other African countries for professional purposes.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the banking and financial services utilities
- Develop and deliver on sales plans to achieve business goals and targets
- Work closely with the Commercial Director.
- Conduct market research
- Analyse industry trends to identify potential clients.
- Carry out the sales process from lead identification to deal closure.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
- Work together with the support team to create and present proposals
- Represent our client at client engagements and industry conferences etc
