- Plan fortnightly sales call schedules to ensure a value-added approach
- Learn and apply client classifications
- Building market share across all categories.
- Drive and achieve volumes / budget across all categories
- Build on and research product and industry knowledge
- Work on promotional activity as per standards
- Build solid long standing client relationships
- Absolute focus on customer and service
- Weekly sales reports
- Proactively look for new business and explore opportunities in the market
- Provide information on market trends as required
- Sales administration
- Ensure deliveries are carried out to company standards.
- Develop new relationships through field visits
- Develop agreements for factory accounts.
- Review customer accounts monthly to identify and solve queries and outstanding matters
- Relevant Degree in Food Technology or equivalent or Business Degree: BCom
- 5 or more years' experience in sales preferably in FMCG/ Commercial
- Experience in the handling of key accounts
- Driver's licence and travel is required
- Discipline and time management.
