As a Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security posture of our organization by leveraging your expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing CrowdStrike Falcon platform. You will be responsible for implementing advanced security measures, conducting threat assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our overall cybersecurity strategy.Onsite required - up to 5 days per week, JHBCrowdStrike certification essentialResponsibilities:CrowdStrike Falcon Deployment and Management:

Deploy and configure CrowdStrike Falcon platform to ensure comprehensive endpoint protection.
Continuously monitor and manage CrowdStrike security controls to identify and mitigate potential threats.

Incident Response:

Lead and participate in incident response activities, investigating and responding to security incidents promptly.
Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures to enhance organizational resilience.

Threat Intelligence

Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
Utilize threat intelligence to proactively adjust security measures and stay ahead of emerging threats.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate CrowdStrike into overall security architecture.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear updates and recommendations.

Security Policy and Compliance:

Contribute to the development and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement in the security infrastructure and propose solutions.
Participate in security awareness programs to educate and empower staff regarding cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a CrowdStrike Security Engineer or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of CrowdStrike Falcon platform and its capabilities.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscape, and risk management.
Experience with incident response and handling security incidents.
Relevant certifications such as CrowdStrike Falcon Certified Professional (CFCP).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
