Gauteng - South AfricaAre you an experienced Auditor seeking your next opportunity in the pharmaceutical industry?Our esteemed client, a leading organisation within the pharmaceutical industry, is actively seeking a highly qualified Senior Internal Auditor to elevate their esteemed team. The incumbent will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of leading and executing audit engagements, thereby ensuring the highest standards of compliance and governance. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will strategically coordinate specific processes to facilitate the effective implementation of the Audit Plan, rigorously monitor compliance, and meticulously prepare and present insightful audit findings and actionable recommendations.Your responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire audit lifecycle from planning through to completion.
- Execute targeted reviews and perform follow-up audits as required.
- Assess risk profiles and enhance the effectiveness of internal controls.
- Mentor junior auditors and lead investigative efforts.
- Serve as the Auditor-in-Charge for various engagements.
- Conduct follow-up audits to evaluate the actions implemented by Management.
- Contribute to the formulation of audit reports for both standard engagements and special reviews.
- Assist in the annual audit planning process and support audit committee reporting.
- Contribute to special projects as needed to ensure comprehensive audit coverage.
- A 3-year tertiary qualification is required, with a relevant honours degree.
- Alternatively, a 4-year degree is acceptable.
- A professional qualification (such as CA(SA), CIA, or CISA), or currently studying towards one, is necessary.
- A minimum of 3 years of audit experience in internal audit is required.
- Must be willing to travel extensively within Gauteng and across South Africa.
