We are seeking a passionate and professional Field Guide (Level 2) to join our team at an exclusive luxury lodge, delivering unforgettable safari experiences and sharing the wonders of the wild with our guests.
About the Role
As a Field Guide, you will lead game drives and walking safaris, interpreting the bush with knowledge, enthusiasm, and respect for nature. You’ll be the storyteller of the wilderness – creating safe, educational, and awe-inspiring moments for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting guided game drives and bush walks in line with lodge and FGASA standards
- Providing engaging and accurate wildlife, conservation, and cultural interpretation
- Ensuring guest safety at all times during activities
- Assisting in conservation initiatives and lodge activities when required
- Maintaining your vehicle and equipment to the highest standard
- FGASA Level 2 qualification (minimum)
- Valid PDP, First Aid, and Rifle Handling
- Excellent communication and hosting skills
- A deep passion for conservation, wildlife, and guest engagement
- Professional appearance and positive, adaptable attitude
