- Provide visionary leadership for the Hotel Restaurant, Bar, and Room Service teams, ensuring service excellence and operational consistency.
- Oversee daily F&B operations, creating a positive and productive work environment.
- Drive innovation in menu concepts and execution for group functions and special events.
- Manage monthly beverage stock counts and ensure effective inventory control.
- Develop and manage Operating, Capex, and OE budgets; monitor cost controls and revenue streams.
- Oversee cash flow, stock, credit, and debtors management, taking proactive measures when necessary.
- Lead HR administration and performance management within the team, in collaboration with internal HR support.
- Champion training initiatives, staff coaching, and development programs to build high-performing teams.
- Foster strong cross-departmental collaboration and a disciplined, service-oriented culture.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Food & Beverage Operations, including at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- A degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.
- Additional WSET or Cape Wine Academy certifications are advantageous.
- Proven track record of strong leadership, communication, and people development skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in F&B budgeting, cost control, and stock management.
- A passion for hospitality, wine, and providing memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- South African citizenship or valid work authorization and a clean criminal record are required.
- Salary R46,000 (this is an all-inclusive package) includes medical aid and 10% contribution to the provident fund
- In terms of incentive, they have a bonus, not a 13th cheque.
- They are based in Lynedoch, Stellenbosch, and the Senior Restaurant Manager will be based at their Hotel Restaurant.
