- Ensure compliance with the OHS Act and related safety regulations.
- Conduct training in line with SOPs and OHS requirements.
- Perform risk assessments and implement effective safety measures.
- Maintain documentation as per Quality Management System requirements.
- Create, update, and maintain HSE-related SOPs.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Manage contractors on site to ensure safety compliance.
- Investigate safety incidents and accidents.
- Conduct safety inductions for new employees and contractors.
- Ensure staff licensing requirements for MHE are met and kept up to date.
- Oversee annual medicals and daily safety checks.
- Perform spot checks on delivery trucks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain and test security equipment (CCTV, electric fence, panic buttons).
- Ensure all critical equipment is serviced according to schedule.
- Diploma in Safety Management / SHEQ or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a SHEQ Officer role.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience advantageous.
- Knowledge of the OHS Act and Environmental Management.
- Skilled in Accident & Incident Investigation, Hazard Identification, and Risk Management.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Oracle, or related ERP systems.
