Having invested heavily in infrastructure, RSAWEB has built a strong presence in South Africa with Data Centres in Johannesburg and Cape Town.Work Integrated Learning Opportunity (Finance)We are offering students an opportunity to complete their Work Integrated Learning (WIL) practical component within our Finance Department. This placement is aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and workplace application, providing exposure to real-world finance functions.Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the guidance of the Finance Team, the student will:
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Support daily transactional tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
  • Perform account reconciliations and assist in maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Contribute to internal audits and compliance checks.
  • Analyse financial data and trends to support business decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative and finance-related support as required.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Diploma Accounting/Finance (Work Integrated Learning component required for completion).
  • Academic record must be provided as proof of enrolment and eligibility.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Commitment to completing the 6-month WIL placement.
  • Reliable transport to and from Northgate Business Park.
  • Placement letter between the learner and the university
  • University Placement Agreement
