Job SummaryA rapidly expanding company is urgently seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. This is an exceptional opportunity for a CA(SA) with a minimum of 8 years' financial reporting and management experience, including at least 5 years in the mining industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset, be a proactive go-getter, and have a proven ability to lead and unite finance functions across multiple companies cohesively. If you have extensive experience in the mining and logistics sectors, strong financial knowledge, and strategic thinking skills, we want to hear from you immediately!Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project delivery.
Preparing and interpreting annual financial statements, monthly management accounts, and project reports, ensuring full compliance with IFRS standards, financial regulations, and tax laws, including all taxation calculations.
Proactively identifying, assessing, and managing financial risks, while also ensuring robust cash flow management to adequately fund all operations and projects.
Developing and preparing comprehensive business plans for the company, contributing directly to strategic objectives.
Leading and mentoring the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment, and providing crucial strategic financial insights and guidance to senior and executive management.
Working closely with departments like operations, commercial, and engineering to achieve shared business goals.

Requirements:

A CA(SA) designation from SAICA.
A minimum of 8 years' experience in financial reporting and management, with at least 5 years specifically within the mining industry.
Experience in both the mining and logistics sectors.
Strong financial acumen, including deep expertise in accounting principles, financial regulations, taxation, and reporting standards.
Proven leadership abilities to effectively lead and motivate a finance team.
