They are looking for a driven and results-oriented Solar Business Developer to expand their client base and strengthen their presence in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will be a natural relationship builder with strong commercial acumen, experience in business development/sales, and a passion for sustainable energy.Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar and renewable energy sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and assess industry trends.
- Develop and present tailored solar energy solutions to commercial, industrial, and residential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the technical and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (experience in the renewable energy/solar industry is highly advantageous).
- Strong network within the energy, property, or construction sectors preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets in a competitive market.
- Commercial and financial understanding of solar/PV projects is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
