
Actuarial Analyst

- Carry out actuarial analyses independently and contribute to complex projects with support from Senior Actuaries.
- Assist with pricing new and renewal business by creating rating structures and performing profitability assessments.
- Provide technical guidance to underwriters to inform pricing decisions and support strategic initiatives.
- Conduct reserving and expense analyses to ensure pricing accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with Underwriting, Claims, and Finance teams to turn actuarial insights into actionable business outcomes.
- Advance towards an actuarial qualification while expanding your technical expertise and industry knowledge.
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in actuarial work, preferably across multiple functions.
- Actively pursuing actuarial exams (local or international).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage tasks independently.
- Professional, adaptable, and able to work to deadlines.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Python, R, SAS, or other data analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of actuarial principles, insurance operations, and financial reporting.
- Effective communicator who can explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Team player with a willingness to learn and grow.
