- Using primary Agile Methodology, defining each element of the project plan and managing against these using appropriate governance whilst ensuring appropriate and timely reporting and escalation.
- Scheduling and managing all project activities, including the overall delivery schedules, work streams, project milestones and dependencies.
- Preparing and controlling the project Statement of Work, budgets and ensuring delivery against financial targets set. To accurately forecast financial performance of projects, consistently identifying and taking actions to protect and improve project gross margin.
- Ensuring the projects are managed in accordance with the relevant project management methodology, regarding planning, control, reporting, documentation, quality, risk analysis and management and change control.
- Ensuring senior level 'stakeholders' are identified and sufficiently informed and involved during all stages of the project. Additionally ensuring all project stakeholders provide high levels of personal and public support to the project and high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project life cycle.
- Mentoring less experienced team members as needed and acting as a role model for best practices within the Nordics Project Delivery team. Managing the work assigned to the technical team assigned to your project.
- Participation in sales campaigns as required, particularly demonstrating our project management credentials and capability to potential clients.
- Production of commercial models and Statements of Work for new engagements.
- A degree in Software or IT.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Client Software Project and Program Management.
- PMP, or Prince2 or other formal project management certifications.
- Proven software project management experience of IT solution design and development projects, ideally with a value of 1million gained in a supplier environment with responsibility for P&L management and a track record of delivering profitable projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, at senior level including customers, contractor, and third-party suppliers in addition to the team.
- Ability to work with methodologies and frameworks to achieve project/programme objectives including Agile/Scrum
- Strong Experience of Software Integration and/or Business/IT integration
- Ability to implement and enforce strong project management disciplines and overall project governance.
- Ability to represent project management effectively in customer situations.
- Strong level of independence and efficiency while maintaining a high degree of organisation
- Great communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to articulate complex business and technology information at a senior level both internally and externally.
- Ability challenge senior level customer stakeholders when necessary, and handle and resolve customer conflicts.
- Ability to independently handle and resolve conflicts within the project team.
- Previous experience working for a software vendor.
- Prior experience working ideally in the banking Retail sector.
- Experience of MS Project
- Experienced using SAP PPM project management tools.
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
