
Inside Sales Specialist - Southern Africa

- Sourcing new sales opportunities through AOG, Salesforce, outbound calls and emails etc.
- Handle and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales specialist for further development and closure
- Coordinate with technical team for accurate solutions, quotations and technical service offerings
- Maintain and expand database of prospects within ZA Cluster assigned region
- Prepares / supports in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.
- Analyzes customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the Sales organization
- Performs lost proposal analysis, identifies potential cause, and recommends future actions in cooperation with Sales team/local business to obtain better future results.
- Proactive identification of service offerings opportunities with both new and existing customers to generate interest
- Generating revenues through supporting the sales team
- Collaborates with cross functional teams, including tendering, sales and technical team to develop offers and drive transformation & growth
- Contributing to ELSE Value Provider Program (VPP) development and promoting to potential channel partners
- Managing different customers along different segments within ZA cluster assigned region
- Contributing to channel pricing strategy and its implementation.
- Ensuring the channel partner agreements are updated and followed.
- Collaborate with service partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Preparing long-term business growth with channel partners
- Ensuring VPP account management activities, business reviews, periodic visits and cadence meetings.
- Primary point of contact for channel partners.
- Participate in common channel partner’s customer visits and channel partner’s events
- Salesforce Channel Opportunity management. Forecasting. Planning information to PSCs and factories
- Operate the CRM systems and ensure authentic information is available withing the company
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum 3 or more years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience on Medium Voltage and Low Voltage products
- Strong communication & negotiation skills.
- Must be self-starter and pro-active. Be able to work independently as well as in team.
- Demonstrated experience of project execution
- Knowledge and experience of driving application of standardized Marketing & Sales processes and tools (Salesforce, SharePoint & etc.)
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, combined with problem solving and analytical skills.
- A solid understanding of contract management, contract negotiations, risk management, commercial and legal terms.
- Experience with channel pricing management
- Available to travel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and manage effective working relationships at all levels
