What you will be doing:Debtors Management:
Oversee invoicing, credit notes, collections
Manage debtor arrangements and franchisee loans
Review debtors ageing reports and onboard new debtors
Supervise debit order processes and monthly reporting
Creditors Management:
Ensure proper invoice processing and approvals
Review COD payments and BEE documentation
Manage supplier accounts and resolve queries
Operational Expenses:
Oversee travel, credit card, and claims processes
Review international travel reconciliations
Monitor unbudgeted expenses and reconciliations
Turnover Declarations & Franchise Fees:
Ensure accurate turnover declarations and fee invoicing
Oversee concession schedules and store turnover validation
Cash Book & Bank Reconciliations:
Review and process cash book entries
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Fixed Assets Management:
Oversee asset additions and depreciation
Validate capitalisation of expenses
Governance & Controls:
Implement audit recommendations
Mitigate financial risks and improve processes
Leadership:
Build and lead a high-performing finance operations team
Mentor staff and drive process improvement initiatives
Routine & Ad Hoc Tasks:
Authorise online payments
Support Group Financial Manager with ad hoc requests
What we are looking for:
BCom in Accounting or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a finance team
Strong leadership and organisational abilities
Proficiency in bookkeeping and financial systems
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Proficient in MS Excel
Collaborative team player with cross-functional agility
