RPO Recruitment's client is a leading engineering consulting firm in the tailings management sector, and are currently seeking a talented and experienced Tailings Engineer to join our client's team. As a Tailings Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the design, implementation, and management of tailings projects.Responsibilities

Conducting site investigations and assessments to evaluate the geotechnical and environmental properties of tailings
Designing and overseeing the construction of tailings storage and management facilities
Performing stability analyses and risk assessments for tailings structures
Developing and implementing tailings management plans
Providing technical guidance and support to project teams and clients

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geological Engineering
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tailings engineering
Strong knowledge of tailings management principles, regulations, and industry best practices
Proficiency in relevant software and analytical tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
