  • Minimum of 2 years of Sales Development or Business Development experience.
  • Understanding of the IT industry and prospecting IT decision makers.
  • Excellent phone, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at cold calling, networking, and prospecting.
  • Ability to build client relationships over the phone/online.
  • Able to type at least 50 words per minute.
Core Job Functions:
  • Make calls to prospective clients.
  • Develop leads and create appointments with clients for our comprehensive network health assessment.
  • Use subscription lists and various non-customer contacts to promote DTS and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Track and record lead and appointment information in our CRM system (ConnectWise).
Additional Role Requirements:
  • Proactive, results driven, and committed to creating new business.
  • Positive, friendly, and helpful attitude.
  • Secure and quiet work area with ability to carry out a phone conversation with little or no background noise.
  • Internet connection capability of at least 20 Mbit download.
  • Reliable power (must have a whole house UPS if unreliable)
  • Able to pass a background check.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • R3,000 - R10,000 per month or more depending on skills and experience.
  • R25,000 average in commissions for each new client obtained.
  • 15 days paid time off per year.
