Civil Quantity Surveyor - Construction Industry

• Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projects
• Conduct comprehensive cost analysis and provide accurate cost forecasts for materials, labor, and equipment
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify potential risks and develop cost-effective solutions
• Monitor project progress and financial performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain budget adherence
• Analyze claims for variations and adjust budgets accordingly
• Perform regular site visits to assess actual quantities and conditions against estimates
• Prepare reports on cost variations, project performance, and financial metrics
• Stay updated with industry trends and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Proven experience as a Civil Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of cost control, cost planning, and project management methodologies
• Proficiency in computer-aided estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and build relationships with project stakeholders
• Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines
• Professional certification or membership in a relevant industry body is a plus
