- Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projects
- Conduct comprehensive cost analysis and provide accurate cost forecasts for materials, labor, and equipment
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify potential risks and develop cost-effective solutions
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain budget adherence
- Analyze claims for variations and adjust budgets accordingly
- Perform regular site visits to assess actual quantities and conditions against estimates
- Prepare reports on cost variations, project performance, and financial metrics
- Stay updated with industry trends and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Proven experience as a Civil Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of cost control, cost planning, and project management methodologies
- Proficiency in computer-aided estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build relationships with project stakeholders
- Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines
- Professional certification or membership in a relevant industry body is a plus
