Job Description :Lead Growth Across Borders for a Global Technology PioneerA world-class leader in intelligent industrial solutions is seeking a commercially driven and visionary Regional Sales Head to lead its sales and commercial operations across Sub-Saharan Africa.This is a senior strategic leadership role, ideal for a seasoned commercial leader who can balance top-line growth with team leadership, and who thrives in a matrixed, fast-paced global environment.As part of a multinational sales and operations leadership group, you will guide a regional team, steer strategic partnerships, and play a key role in accelerating growth across the energy, infrastructure, and process automation markets.Your Leadership Mission
  • Drive regional revenue growth through long-term strategy, client relationships, and commercial execution
  • Lead and inspire a high-performance, multi-country sales team across sectors including energy, water, petrochemicals, and industrial automation
  • Position the business as a preferred partner through differentiated solutions, strong market presence, and long-term partnerships
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on global sales strategy and ensure alignment with regional realities
  • Structure commercial pursuits, lead proposal oversight, and influence win strategies for large capital projects and service contracts
  • Identify high-value opportunities, support channel expansion, and ensure customer satisfaction from project delivery to aftersales
  • Track market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer trends to guide agile sales tactics
  • Shape pricing and profitability strategies in a performance-driven, consultative sales environment
RequirementsWhat You Bring
  • A technical foundation – ideally a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar; a commercial post-grad advantageous (MBA/Master’s)
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in complex B2B technical or project-based sales within automation, control, energy, or related sectors
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional, multicultural sales teams across geographic regions
  • Strong commercial acumen, with deep exposure to solution-based selling, capital project structuring, and post-sale lifecycle management
  • Fluent in client engagement at C-level, with the gravitas to influence decision-makers
  • Confident managing risk, driving accountability, and negotiating complex contractual frameworks
  • Agile, adaptable, and proactive — with a hands-on leadership style and a passion for emerging markets
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Sub-Saharan Africa
