Mechanical Engineer(Built Environment)

• BSc/MSc or B Eng/M Eng within building services related field, with HVAC and Wet Services experience

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the Mechanical environment, within the built environment, preferably within a consulting engineering business

• Professionally Registered (Pr Eng or similar)

• A strong background in HVAC design, including chilled water systems design, refrigerant system design, reticulation design, , air side system design, compilation of specifications, heat load simulation using Carrier or IESVE

• Demonstrable experience leading large projects, from concept, through to construction

• Have strong understanding of local & international codes & standards, including those applicable to South Africa, Middle East, SE Asia & Australia

• Previous exposure to data center, stadiums, education, healthcare, and other commercial related projects

• Understanding of LEED/WELL requirements (beneficial) • Up-time Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) (beneficial) • International project experience (outside Africa) (beneficial)

• Strong proficiency in Revit with the ability to deliver to a minimum of LOD300 (beneficial)

• A willingness to learn and investigate technological systems • A strong interest in working on innovative and complex projects
