Packing Supervisor - CPT, Northern SuburbsFull job descriptionTo organize, coordinate and direct the production team and its activities to ensure the delivery of production requirements.Responsibilities:To plan and coordinate production activities to ensure the delivery of production targets•Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures, and facilitate smooth operations in the department •Submit work orders to the Maintenance department to minimize breakdown disruptions, and liaise with the Engineering Manager to ensure effective preventative maintenance on machinesTo ensure adherence to quality & food safety standards according to good manufacturing practices & in line with cGMP, BRC, HACCP, ISO 22 000, TGA etc.To ensure the creation of an environment in which the team is motivated to maximize performance and contribute to productivityTo submit accurate and timeous reports and to take action as required on deviations, incidents, accidents, etc.To adhere to safety and security standards according to the OHS Act and in line with company policies and procedures. Grade 122-3 years’ experience in a production (preferably packing) environmentPeople Management experience is essentialBasic knowledge of GMP and related quality standardsComputer literacySupervisory certificate would be advantageousWorking knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement toolsAbove average accuracy, problem solving & time management skillsResults focusSafety focusExcellent organizing & communication skillsPlease note, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
