Senior Data Analyst

• Collaborate with the Client Data technology team to understand and enhance data sets, adding value to ongoing projects.
• Take ownership of the Client Data Product, ensuring data is accurately modeled and easily consumable.
• Develop a deep understanding of various business areas and use analytics-based insights to suggest ways to reduce costs and increase revenue.
• Manage stakeholder expectations by maintaining clear and consistent communication.
• Follow the team's change control process for deploying and updating outputs in production.
• Document all processes and outputs thoroughly.
• Monitor and investigate any failed reports, applying appropriate fixes to ensure successful runs.
• Track the usage of created outputs, engaging with stakeholders to address any that are underutilized.
• Regularly interact with stakeholders to ensure outputs meet their intended purpose.
• Migrate existing analytics processes to Power BI and/or Synapse Analytics where possible.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Data Analyst.
• Strong formal modeling skills.
• Experience in creating reusable assets and focusing on long-term solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and/or Synapse Analytics.
• Experience with Microsoft Cloud-based tools for analytics, such as Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Analysis Services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into actionable outputs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to effectively document processes.

• BCom Information Systems, BSc in Computer Science, or other relevant qualification.
