Our client, a reputable and well-established company based in Bloemfontein, is seeking to appoint an Assistant Financial Manager. This is a key role for an experienced and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a solid background in finance and team collaboration.Minimum requirements:Registered AGA(SA)Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in:ManagementFinancial statementsTaxPayrollProficient in Pastel, Sage VIP and ExcelStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Able to perform under pressure and manage deadlines effectivelyKey Responsibilities:Work closely with the Financial Manager and provide full support, including acting in their absenceImplement and maintain effective financial controls to reduce risk and improve productivityContinuously analyse current financial systems and suggest improvements for efficiencyUphold the highest level of confidentiality at all timesPromote strong teamwork and maintain excellent relationships with staff and clients to support shared goalsTake responsibility for the following areas:Payroll administration (contracts, pay runs, SDL, EMP201/501, Employment Equity, reconciliations, etc.)CreditorsProcessing financial transactionsPreparation of financial statementsTax compliance (VAT, Income Tax, Dividend Tax)Assist with ad-hoc client-focused projects and other reasonable financial tasks as neededThis is a full-time, office-based position.
