This is a senior leadership role for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in mineral processing and a proven track record in both operations and project development.As Principal Process Engineer, you will:Ensure all Process Engineering activities meet the highest standards of quality, ethics, and compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirementsEstablish and uphold design standards within your area of expertiseCoordinate resources to ensure studies are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standardCollaborate across business units to drive integrated project successMaintain consistently high-quality process deliverables and respond swiftly to project changesManage process design functions across designated projects, whether personally or through delegationAnalyse technical data and its implications for process designLead process components of scoping, pre-feasibility, and feasibility studies with precision and thoroughnessConduct peer reviews to ensure design integrityDeliver accurate and professional project reporting in line with company and client standardsTo be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:University degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or equivalentMinimum of 15 years' experience in mineral processing or related industries, including post-graduate experienceProven background in both process plant operations and project developmentExperience within mining companies and contract engineering organisationsSouth African Citizen or Permanent ResidentBased in Cape Town or willing to relocateSET ConsultingRecruiter
