A leading South African open-pit mining and aggregates company has a vacancy for a Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Fitter at their Mpumalanga operation. This is a hands-on role for a skilled artisan who thrives in maintaining heavy mining equipment to maximise uptime and safety.Minimum Qualification & Experience
  • Grade 12 (preferably Technical)
  • Trade Certificate Diesel Mechanic / Millwright / Diesel Fitter
  • 10+ years' field experience maintaining heavy equipment in surface mining
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong systems knowledge:
  • CAT engine diagnostics & maintenance
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic & electrical systems troubleshooting
  • Oil analysis interpretation & preventive maintenance
  • Drill rig experience (highly advantageous)
