  • BEng Mechatronics (or equivalent)
  • 7+ years of experience in automation engineering within high-tech manufacturing
  • Strong grasp of mechatronic, electronic, and mechanical system design
  • Advantageous: Experience in the mining or electronic initiation industry
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead automation upgrades, equipment redesign, and capacity planning
  • Oversee new automation initiatives from concept through commissioning
  • Collaborate with R&D and production to align systems with future product development
  • Standardize automation practices (software, documentation, commissioning)
  • Mentor engineering teams and drive continuous improvement
