- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of estimates.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate job costing.
- Estimating and Quoting:
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and roofing plans.
- Prepare detailed and competitive quotations for clients based on project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all estimates are accurate and reflect the current market conditions and material costs.
- Client Interaction:
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Present estimates and proposals to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales representatives and project managers to ensure alignment on project scopes and deliverables.
- Collaborate with procurement to source materials and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
- Market Research:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor pricing, and new product offerings to enhance the estimating process.
- Analyze past project data to improve future estimating accuracy.
- Tertiary qualification would be preferred but not essential
- Proven experience as a Sales Estimator, preferably in the prefab structure or cold rooms industry.
- Strong track record in sales and project management.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
