Qualifications
  • Matric
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field (preferred but not essential).
Requirements
  • 13 years in a marketing support, co-ordinator, or digital content creation role.
  • Strong content writing and proofreading.
  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe tools.
  • Experience with social media scheduling and management platforms.
  • Event coordination and logistics.
  • Solid planning and time management.
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with digital tools like Google Workspace, CMSs, or email marketing platforms.
Duties
  • Ensure professional and consistent delivery of marketing content and collateral.
  • Bring structure, accuracy, and creativity to all marketing administrative tasks.
  • Support the smooth execution of marketing events and promotional campaigns.
  • Reduce bottlenecks and delays in content creation, approvals, and scheduling.
  • Accurately capturing the culture and DNA of the company's brand.
  • Schedule and post social media content.
  • Create or refine marketing content.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders on event logistics.
  • Design promotional artwork or layouts.
  • Update the marketing project tracker and plan content for the week.
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorm sessions.
  • Gather performance data from recent campaigns and assist in reporting
  • Write and edit marketing content for various platforms (social media, website, internal communication, etc.).
  • Design basic marketing collateral using tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite.
  • Administer and support events, including logistics coordination and stakeholder communication where necessary.
  • Manage and monitor social media channels and schedule posts.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, campaign trackers, and content schedules.
  • Assist with website updates, newsletters, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Support campaign reporting by gathering and compiling relevant data.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal departments for marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in planning and executing staff engagement or promotional events.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
  • Maintain the digital asset library and archive of campaigns and collateral
