  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in VMware and Microsoft infrastructure roles
  • Relevant certifications (VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Veeam)
  • Hands-on experience with VMware and Microsoft technologies (VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX; Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, PowerShell)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
DUTIES:VMware Infrastructure:
  • Design, deploy, and manage VMware environments including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vCenter
  • Monitor and optimize virtual server performance, availability, and capacity
  • Implement and test disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
  • Maintain VM backups, snapshots, and automation using vRealize or PowerCLI
  • Troubleshoot escalated virtualization issues and provide Tier 3 support
Backup & Recovery Operations:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication solutions for virtual and physical environments
  • Monitor backup jobs, perform regular verification, and ensure recoverability of critical data
  • Manage backup repositories, proxies, and storage integrations (e.g., NAS, SAN, cloud)
  • Implement and test disaster recovery plans and restore procedures
Microsoft Workplace Solutions:
  • Administer Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Manage Intune for device compliance, app deployment, and endpoint security
  • Configure and maintain Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policies
  • Support Windows 10/11 desktop environments, including patching and updates
  • Implement and monitor security policies using Defender for Endpoint and Conditional Access
Collaboration & Documentation:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business needs
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to junior engineers
