Our client is a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with the head office in Durban, and branches around SA and Africa. The company is looking for a vibrant and dynamic young individual to join their civil engineering team within their Durban branch.The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

Must be a Graduate B Eng (Civils) or B Tech (Civil Eng)
Must be registered as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng. (ECSA Registration certificate required)
Professionally registered with ECSA prior to 2010
Minimum 12 years' technical experience and 4 years' team leadership experience (most of which in a consulting engineering firm)

Experience in:

Infrastructure design
Roads, earthworks, storm water and sewer - essential
Storm water management
Pump station design (both sewer and water supply) desirable

Experience with municipal, housing infrastructure, and industrial engineering;
Proficient in use of MS Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D (essential) and IDAS an advantage
Knowledgeable in Hec-ras, GIS, PCSWMM or similar an advantage
Knowledgeable in eThekwini standards an advantage
Problem Solving and Critical Thinking
Accurate - with strong attention to detail
Confident, with strong interaction / people skills
Dynamic and driven - yet humble
Even tempered
Team player

Start date: 1 April 2024 or sooner if possible.Remuneration: Market-related; dependent on qualifications, experience and skill set
