Start Date: ASAPJob Summary:We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Farm Labourer to assist with the daily operations of the farm. The role includes caring for livestock, watering and maintaining crops, and performing general day-to-day farm tasks. The ideal candidate is physically fit, dependable, and has a passion for farming and animal welfare.Key Responsibilities:
- Feed, water, and care for livestock (e.g., sheep, cattle, poultry, goats, etc.).
- Monitor the health and behaviour of animals and report any concerns.
- Clean animal enclosures and maintain hygiene and welfare standards.
- Water, weed, and maintain crops according to seasonal requirements.
- Operate basic farm equipment (e.g., hosepipes, wheelbarrows, small machinery if trained).
- Assist with planting, harvesting, and packing when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety around the farm.
- Support other general farm duties as needed, including fencing, repairing, and storage.
- 13 years' experience in a farm labour or agricultural environment.
- Physically fit and capable of doing manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of livestock and crop care.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and hardworking.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
