Job Purpose:To generate sales and new business opportunities through outbound and inbound calls. The Telesales Representative will engage with potential and existing customers, promote products or services, close sales, and maintain strong client relationships to meet and exceed sales targets.Key Responsibilities:Make outbound calls to prospective customers to promote and sell products or services.Handle inbound calls from customers with interest or queries.Follow up on leads provided by the marketing team or generated independently.Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs.Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and offer appropriate solutions.Accurately capture customer information and update CRM/database systems.Handle customer objections confidently and professionally.Provide detailed product or service information to potential customers.Process orders and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align messaging and campaigns.Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on promotions and offers.Ensure excellent customer service and maintain a positive brand image.Requirements: Qualifications:Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (minimum requirement)Sales or customer service certification (advantageous)Experience:1–2 years' experience in telesales, telemarketing, or call center salesExperience in selling [insert product/service type, e.g., financial services, telecoms, etc.] is beneficialSkills:Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skillsStrong persuasion and negotiation skillsAbility to handle objections and close sales effectivelyGood listening skills and a customer-centric mindsetProficient in MS Office and CRM systemsFluent in English (additional languages are a plus)Resilient, target-driven, and self-motivatedOther Requirements:Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume call environmentWilling to work flexible hours or shifts if requiredProfessional phone etiquette and clear articulation
