NOW RECRUITING - ATTENDANT: MEMBER SERVICES - GOLF (Fixed Term Contract)!The Links, a private club and golf course in South Africa, is situated in George in the heart of the Garden Route.Kindly review the role description, and apply if you meet the requirements.The Links at Fancourt, one of Africa’s most exclusive golf clubs In South Africa, is now recruiting for an Attendant: Member Services – Golf (Fixed Term).The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be tactful, confident, have good listening skills and be able to read and understand English. The candidate must also be well organised, be able to cope under pressure, be able to upsell and do basic calculations.A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent with 3 years’ experience in the golf service industry is required. A certificate in Customer Service and/or Golf Cart training will be advantageous.Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensure that the driving range requirements are maintained and managed;
  • Ensure that the locker rooms, bag room, facilities (tennis courts) and amenities are presented in a way that is representative of a 5* facility;
  • Provide superior Front of House/Concierge service in the members and clubhouse facilities;
  • Monthly stock taking;
  • Stand in for Caddy Master when they are off duty.
The successful candidate will be physically fit to carry out all reasonable duties associated with this role, and will be able and willing to work additional hours, weekends and public holidays.
