- Tertiary education (Degree or Diploma) would be beneficial
- Experience in the PPE industry would be advantageous, alternate industries to consider would be manufacturing, power tools, industrial, etc.
- Good understanding of merchandising
- Retail experience
- Great people skills as a key aspect of the role is customer service excellence
- Own car is required for client visits
- Report directly to the GM
- Manage the day-to-day operations
- Responsible for procurement
- Manage internal sales
- Support external sales
- Manage the warehouse
- Reporting to head office
- Visit existing clients and new clients to grow customer base and maintain happy customers
- Implementation of procedures and controls
- Accountable and responsible for the regions retail store
- Responsible for branch HR (supported by Head Office)
- Build knowledge of trends in the PPE industry
- Implement and drive company vision and focus
- Build and mentor an effective team (15 people)
