This role is ideal for a technically proficient individual who can confidently manage the end-to-end process of preparing, reviewing, and finalising financial statements in line with IFRS and IFRS for SMEs, while serving as a key client contact.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Accounting degree.
- Completed articles (SAICA, SAIPA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- SAIPA or AGA(SA) professional registration preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in CaseWare Working Papers.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.
- Based in Johannesburg or surrounding areas.
- Prepare high-quality financial statements in accordance with IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.
- Review financial statements to ensure compliance, accuracy, and presentation standards.
- Perform and review iXBRL conversions for statutory submissions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Ensure timely delivery of all reporting outputs while adhering to internal quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and client satisfaction.
