- Fitter & Machining is an advantage (experience and/or qualifications)
- Gr 12/N3 Minimum requirement
- Tertiary education will be a great advantage
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience, related to Mechanical Engineering workshop
- Knowledge of the following
- Conventional turning and milling,
- CNC turning and Milling,
- Gearbox Fitting
- Gear manufacturing experience will be an advantage
- Must have knowledge of different types of steel.
- Draughting requirements
- Able to do technical drawings
- Able to use measuring equipment
- Able to use 3D modelling
- Modelling of mechanical components
- Modelling of assembly drawings
- Understanding of tolerances for shafts, gears bearing fitments
