Financial controls and procedures
- Trial balance - Correctness and Reconciliations Monthly (VAT, Network fee, Lost & Expired, Provisions, Accruals and other)
- Oversee monthly reconciliation and correctness of VIC
- Assist with preparing monthly reporting packs (Finpack & Stats)
- Support overall team with process/system knowledge
- Oversee monthly stock take and reconciliations
- Improved controls & processes Review
- Integration Other products
- Automated reporting and dashboards - IV / Metrics, Customer Info and other
- Preparation and finalisation of monthly internal audits
- Sales Dashboard and Metrics Weekly preparation and distribution
- Monthly statistical information and other reports
- Monthly stock reports
- Monthly SLT and Town hall packs
- Quarterly board reports
- BEE Compliance and Audit
- Financial Reporting and compliance SARS, COIDA, Accounting Standards and group policies
- Successful Audit (Deloitte)
- POPIA Compliance
- Drive cost reduction and margin improvement Vendor Management Ensure the reporting against budget overruns
- Identify opportunities for cost reductions, and manage vendors accordingly.
- Mentor and support team members
- Encourage skills development and knowledge sharing within the finance department
- Support all stakeholders in the resolution of issues and enquiries
- Accounts payable oversee AP start to end.
Minimum
- Matric (NQF level 4), mathematics
- National Diploma in Financial Accounting (NQF level 5)
- Min 2 - 3 years in a financial controller role
- Min 2 3 years in finance
- BCom Accounting or Financial Management (NQF level 7)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (NQF level 8)
- 2 3 years in a financial controller role
- Certified General Accountant
- BCom Accounting or Financial Management (NQF level 7)
- 3 years in a financial controller role
- Financial and management accounting
- Understanding of tax regulations and compliance
