Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their team. This role is crucial for overseeing and managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient reporting.Key Responsibilities: * Maintaining Financial Records:
- Accurately record and update all financial transactions, ensuring completeness and consistency.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
- Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile balances to maintain financial integrity.
- Bank Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll Processing:
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including deductions and compliance with tax regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against budgetary goals.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations to uphold financial integrity.
- Communication:
- Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and management regarding financial matters, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software.
- Ability to analyse financial data and identify trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
