- Preparation of proposals for new clients
- Assisting with analysis to support recommendations by the Head of Wealth
- Preparation of financial plans and needs analyses according to internal processes
- Assisting with estate planning and risk quotes
- Preparation of client advice records and replacement disclosures
- Preparation of annual client reviews and implementation of post-review action items
- Recording client meeting minutes and tracking deliverables
- Managing timelines for deliverables to ensure timely execution
- Managing and executing various client projects
- Keeping clients updated on events and transactions
- Drafting and sending correspondence to clients and external providers
- Resolving ad hoc client queries
- Maintaining accurate and thorough record keeping
- Matric
- Regulatory Exam 5 (RE5)
- BCom or equivalent qualification/degree
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification preferable
- Minimum of 5 years’ Paraplanner experience, with specific case preparation exposure, including Record of Advice, Financial Needs Analysis, and industry compliance
- Strong knowledge of financial services products and high-level financial industry and tax technical knowledge
- Solid understanding of the financial planning process
- Own transport required
