SAIPA Training Contracts are available to graduates and postgraduates who have completed an Accounting/Auditing degree at an accredited institution.The firm provides reliable and professional auditing, accounting, taxation, secretarial and related administration services and advice to small and medium-sized businesses, individuals and larger organisations throughout South Africa.Great opportunity to start your career in finance with a training contract at a reputable firm in the Cape Winelands.Duties and Responsibilities:

Produce client reports.
Perform accounting work.
Administrative duties.
Full bookkeeping and accounting function up to trial balance, including debtors, creditors, bank, petty cash, journals, etc.
Handling of VAT and PAYE reviews.
Invoicing and debtors’ collection.
IRP5 calculations, reconciliations and submissions.
Liaison with clients.
Maintenance of SARS accounts.
PAYE/UIF/SDL calculations and EMP201 submissions.
Registration and deregistration for Income Tax, PAYE, VAT and Import and Export licenses.
Tax clearance applications.
UIF registration and administration.
VAT calculations and VAT201 submissions.
WCA registrations, submission of returns and arranging letters of good standing.

Qualifications and experience:

BAccounting, BCom Accounting, BCom Management Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting, or equivalent.
Computer literacy.
Ability to work in a team.
Excellent attention to detail.
Driver’s licence and own transport.

Remuneration:

Market related.
