The Account Executive is a bonafide hunter and closer responsible for driving the sales pipeline and crushing quotas. Utilizing excellent communication and tenacity, the AE will qualify leads, drive a consultative sales process, and ultimately negotiate and close complex deals at an executive level.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Hunter mentality to negotiate complex deals as a direct sellerMeet or exceed sales and profitability quotas on a quarterly and annual basisMaintain accurate sales forecasting, thoughtful engagement of customers/prospects, and resource utilization against any leadsParticipate in/advice on new go-to-market solutions and messagingCraft and deliver account plans for prospective clients through telephone, email, video meetings, and all other available methodsWork with relevant Directors to develop client offers, proposals, and presentations — ultimately setting relationships and engagements up for long-term successManage the overall relationship and communication with key client(s) and have full command of their business model, web development needs, and how our client may deliver valueDevelop and manage key selling relationships to drive new business and ensure proper communication on account deliveryConduct outbound prospecting to net new target accountsExpertly drive a complex, consultative sales process from beginning to endBuild rapport and uncover true pain points to align services for client successContribute to compelling propositions and the vision for each opportunityCreate and execute a strategic sales plan, identifying key stakeholders, need development, and strategic approachEagerness to learn, coach, and be coached within an AE teamExperience selling to Marketing Departments, Directors, VPs, and C-Level executivesConfidently and tactfully challenge a prospect’s way of thinking to build valueExperience selling technology solutions: web, SaaS, eCommerce, IT, cloud services, etc.Thrive in a remote environmentEducate, influence, and deliver compelling sales presentations/demosPrepare and submit activity reports, pipeline forecasts, and conversion ratesNeed to Have:Hunter & closer mentalitySuccessful track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex solution environmentsBe a top sales executive within current/previous teams5+ years owning a consultative sales process3+ years closing complex negotiationsExperience crafting and executing plans to close small to mid-size web development projectsSuccess selling complex, multi-faceted web development projects into matrixed organizationsKnowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologiesDeep knowledge of digital development/website landscapesStrong verbal, written communication, and listening skillsStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsCoachable and growth-orientedAble to use rejection as a learning toolSales experience in small companies or startupsAbility to position yourself as an expert across the digital/web landscapeExcellent leadership, collaboration, and team-building skillsComfort leading complex pursuits involving many disciplines
