Our client is offering a great opportunity to suitably qualified and experienced staff to contribute towards our mission to improve the health of people and communities through innovation in Health Research and Systems. The Maintenance Coordinator maintains site facilities in respect to Maintenance and Repairs.Technical Work Responsibilities:Supervise the General Assistant : Maintenance
General maintenance and repairs, including replacing light bulbs
General furniture and equipment maintenance and repairs
General building work including painting, basic brick laying, plastering, tiling, dry walling, basic plumbing and electrical repairs, cleaning air conditioner filters
Installing white boards, picture frames etc.
Moving furniture and boxes as and when required
Cleaning internal and external areas as and when required
Purchasing required maintenance stock
Complete the stock control register each time an item is removed from the Maintenance store room.
Report any potential health and safety risks to the Corporate Operations Manager.Requirements:Education:Grade 12 or similar.Experience:Must have at least 5 years experience in building construction, maintenance and repairs.
Other Requirements
Knowledge of basic office etiquette
